Certainly Amazon is one of the best e-commerce sites ever. Their service is excellent and their site is easy to use. With that said, there is a lot of clutter on the site. To this day, I’ve never purchased a “recommended book bundle”. I think it’s interesting what other books people have bought, but that doesn’t open my wallet.
So what’s the end result of this rant? A very simple Amazon book search.
The technology is a PHP app that uses Prototype to make AJAX calls to Amazon Web Services.
